Located in Redwood Grove, and designated as a State of California historic landmark, Halsey House, and the Nature Center it housed, have a long history with our community.  

Resident groups are forming to discuss how we can return this resource to our Los Altos Community as a Public space with community services to support its distinct location as a Nature Center, Ohlone interpretative Center, and cultural landmark.

2014-2016 PROPOSAL TO reBUILD NATURE CENTER @ HALSEY HOUSE

Several residents have led efforts and proposals to remodel and rebuild Halsey House and make permanent its status as a Park and Nature Center.  We will post proposals to City as well as City documents related to Halsey House here. (COMING SOON)
